Lifeguard patrol starts Labour Weekend so the Club is open to all members
Everyone is welcome to come down to the Club to celebrate the first official weekend of patrol and the start of Junior Surf.
The Surf Club Cafe & Bar now open
Enjoy refreshments on the deck over Labour Weekend and every following weekend. James Wootten & his team return to deliver some wonderful food and coffees or serve you that deserving cold drink.
Every weekend till Christmas then 7 days
Friday – 5 til late
Saturday – 8am to 8pm
Sunday – 8am 3pm
Saturday 21 October 2017 – Lifeguards
9.20am – Lifeguard registration
9.30am – Theory test commences followed by CPR, RSR & TR
11.00am – First patrol of the season begins
5.00pm – Patrol finishes
5.30pm – Get-together, nibbles provided, bring $5 for dinner and fun
Sunday 22 October 2017 – Junior Surf
10am – Junior Surf registration & fun on the beach for the athletes
11am – 10+ age-group athletes and parents meeting (upstairs in club house)
11.45am – Junior Surf Committee & Coaches briefing on 2017/18 programme, held in meeting room
Try a new surf sport in a safe environment
Our senior lifeguards will be demonstrating how much fun surf sports are.
There are lots of activities are on so don’t be shy, come down and try out a few new sports.
Complete your registration form & pay before by 1 November 2017
and you could be in to win one of two $50 Club Vouchers
plus no queue for you on Sunday.
Pre-enrol before you refresh & bring your OLD lifeguard polo and we will swap it with a brand new shirt to start the season off. TSB is a major partner of SLSNZ and their brand will be proudly displayed on the new shirts alongside DHL.
Get your Registration form in during Labour Weekend and you will be on the top of the list for a new shirt.
First 50 registration forms qualify for a new shirt, be in quick.
Must bring in your old shirt when you collect your new one.
Become a social member and help the Club to prosper. For only $25 for the season you can enjoy the hospitality at the Club while supporting lifeguarding.
