Rescue Ready Fundraiser

On 2 March 2024, we will demonstrate our skills as volunteer lifeguards and rescue 10 people along the 10-kilometre Waihi Beach coast to raise $10,000.

Come on down to Bowentown at 11am, or Island View at 11.30am and North End (clubhouse) at 12noon to watch us in action.

For anyone over the age of 15 years who wants to experience being rescued, then put your bid in, and we will let the top ten bids know who will be the patients by 28th February.

All instructions and gear will be provided you just need your swimwear/wetsuit and to be confident in the surf.
