Junior Surf Champs 12th March

Hello to all our Junior Surf families!

We are holding our Waihi Beach Junior Surf Club Champs and Prizegiving on Sunday 12 March 2023. This is open to all paid up Junior Surf athletes registered this season. Due to the weather events, and other circumstances beyond our control (which have disrupted the 2022/23 season), we have waived the requirement that athletes must have attended 4 Sunday sessions to be able to compete. Registration will be on the day. The exact start time will be confirmed this Sunday and we will post a more detailed programme during the week prior.

For our athletes in the 10+ age-group, prize-giving for overall age group and special awards will be held prior to the start of Club Champs to enable our super star coach Maddie to attend and present the awards. The time for the Breakfast Prizegiving will also be confirmed this Sunday.

We will hold Junior Surf as usual this coming Sunday at 10am. Due to several of our coaches being away with other Lifeguard related activities, this will a fun session and likely combined age groups.
